~ organization ~

I'm trying to organize my life.  Starting small - as I've been upside down lately.

For starters; I bought an organizer for files - so I'll put bills in there - go back to basics.  I haven't kept track of stuff since I moved here.  I shred everything.  I need to build my independence back up.  I need to look out for myself.

I had labwork done on Sandy on Tuesday night.  He is extremely Hyperthyroid.  I need to make a decision on treatment.  It's very pricey.  I am going to talk with my vet some more about it - but there are 2 ways to treat him:  1) Give him medication twice daily until he dies.  2) Take him to an Endocrinologist and have RadioActive Iodine injected in him - he'd board for a week or more; then once he comes home - I may have to give him SubQ fluids to help his kidneys....that's a doozy.

I did email Susan and I will phone her next week to also discuss.  She's always been really helpful, and I'm grateful that I can still lean on her and Jenn.

I am trying to get some handyman stuff done while my parents are in town.  Not sure if it's worth it or not - but I'm trying.

Tonight I've been downloading songs from iTunes onto my iPad - Russell Crowe has a great album:  The Crowe/Doyle Songbook, Vol III.  I just bought the whole thing as there's been a lot of talk on Twitter about it...I am on the third song and they're very good.  It sounds Canadian and it sounds like the words that I want to say right now.  His wife is also featured on most of the songs.  ...anyway - I just tweeted him tonight to say I liked it.  I doubt he'll acknowledge it, but you never know. 

I hope Pamela gets onto Blogspot.com - I can't wait to hear about her adventures in Australia.
