On April 30, Jeff and I became a foster family for a Mother cat and her 5 babies. There is a 6th kitten - but not biologically related. Momma' Cat accepted her as her own though.
They were born on April 17th and 20th and they have been so much fun. I of course have been taking photos of them at any opportunity. :-) They are all named after Las Vegas hotels - I'll have to post their pictures with names at a later time - as I don't use their names. There is a little Simon and a little Felix...the rest are girls that go by the name of "kitty". I don't want to get attached, since they'll be going back to the shelter by Mid-June. Our goal has been to socialize them and turn them into well-rounded kitties...Mom is a challenge, but she's very very affectionate. I just hope she melts hearts at the shelter and adjusts nicely there.
Momma is very shy, but she now has run of the house and has even come out to visit when the dogs are inside. She knows that she's the queen of the house though - the other 2 cats I have are submissive to her and will stay clear.

That little ginger kitty so looks like Simon. How sweet. I would fall in love with them all.
I can't think of anybody better to socialize that little family than you. You are so good and loving to animals.
