I qualified for an upgrade, so I purchased a Droid 2 Global. It's SO MUCH FUN!!! I am new to the "touch screens" - so this one is a hybrid...if you slide the screen up - then there is a keyboard hiding underneath. It's very cool; and so easy now that I have the hang of it!!!
Today; I took Jeff to the airport. He flew out to Orlando for the annual largest pet supply convention in North America. He accepted a job offer back to Precision Pet Products. He turned down the company in Bozeman, Montana. Life has been pretty rough for the past few mos. I've been pretty emotional lately - Jeff's been emotional...he had 3 job offers; and didn't know which way to go. I hope that he's happy with this decision to go back with a company that he left 6mos ago. Blame it on a mid-life crisis maybe.
I met up with Bri & Todd at the OC Swapmeet later this morning. I have been wanting to go for a few weeks now. I am going to San Francisco next weekend with Charlotte for a "getaway", and I wanted some new clothes. The Swapmeet is amazing! There are a ton of vendors and it takes about 4hrs to walk through it. Cathie met us there as well, so her and I shopped for a little bit after Bri & Todd went home.
I decided to go home from Cathie's through the Canyon. I was apprehensive - but it IS a beautiful ride. Anyway - it turned into a devastating drive home - I witnessed the lady in front of me run over a squirrel. I cried the whole way home. What an emotional mess. I feel so horrible.
Jeff took me to the Staples Centre on Feb 23rd to go see Linkin Park - my absolute favourite band. Oh my god - they rocked the house yet again!!! I haven't seen them since 2003 when I took a date to the show in Vancouver. This time; it was my Christmas present.
I went back to the Staples Centre 5 days later; with Jeff again - to see Todd Bertuzzi play hockey. OMG - he's so hot. He's still my number one favourite player. I was lucky that my man gave me tickets to go see my crush!
