Work has been stressful over the past week. It's a distraction that allows my heart to show - it's hard to be vulnerable.
I went to watch the Sea Lions be released into the wild - nothing has made me more proud to be a human being than what I experienced on Sunday! As people - we have the capability to do so much destruction to nature - but a few of us have the intention to make it better. I want to do all that I can to help.
Last year - on this blog - I posted a video of the actress Hayden Panetierre, (HEROs), coming on-shore from a surfboard in the ocean off Japan. She was bawling as she was trying to coax dolphins away from a massacre that the Japanese do every year from Sept - Mar. That video tore me up - and I saw on TV that there is going to be a movie released - it's all about the dolphin massacre that goes on annually; and most of the Japanese don't even know it happens! I am trying to gather the guts to go see the movie; but know it will kill me. It's called "The Cove" and it's a documentary.
I have been downloading songs on iTunes tonight. I have so far bought a few songs tonight...some of my favourites are:

Jeff is in Phoenix for the day/night. He's coming home tomorrow sometime - I hope he's having success!
Not too much to report - I am going to sync my iPod and hit the sack. I am tired!!

I want to see that documentary... maybe we can rent it when it comes out on DVD and watch it together on one of my trips there or one of your trips here? I will supply the kleenex :-)

Was so nice to see Jeff on saturday, even if it was brief meetings!! I gave him an extra big hug for both of you!!!!
It doesn't matter what type of movie I watch, if there is any violence towards any kind of animal I cringe!!!
Sorry I don't think I would be able to watch that movie!! To disturbing and sad for me!!!

I saw a clip of the video....it was sad...did she get arrested for that?
I have half those songs already downloaded...and I too love love Jason Mraz. I wanted to see him when he was in Vancouver recently, but the concert sold out fast.
