~ a busy day ~

What an ADVENTURE!

First of all - congrats to go the Canucks! They kicked some Blackhawk booty last night!! 5-3 - first game in their series! WOOHOO!!!

This morning we woke up at about 7am - and we got Jeff ready to drive him to the train station for his flight to Vancouver. We did a Starbucks run - then got to the station at about 8:15am. Jeff went to check in and they told him that his train was late about an hour. NICE!!!

I looked at him and said - "Guess we're going on a road-trip!" We went home - grabbed the dogs and he drove down to the Airport. We said our goodbyes and before I took off - I put my Canucks Flag on my truck.

I drove home somewhat slow - as I didn't want to risk losing the flag...I got home at 1145am. My flag did get shredded a bit on the drive home....so much for trying to keep it in mint condition! I dropped Cola off at home, then took Cali to the Rancho Santa Margarita Lake to meet up with Robot & Charlotte.

Charlotte bought a pet cam for Robot last week - and she let Cali wear it on her collar today! Here are some photos that Cali took - from her point of view:



I have been completely slacking in the photography department. I am just not in the right frame of mind to be interested these days. Part of it - is that I'm irritated that I took a ton of photos for work, and they said that I'd get written credit, (a caption with my name), for them - but I saw one pic in the OC Register the other day - and the credit went to "City of Mission Viejo". I was irritated. I just have to be less naiive. I was looking forward to having something of mine published and I have nothing to show now.

Today on our walk - I took my camera. I took some really cool pics of Cali on the rocks - and some of the other critters we saw - then I came home - uploaded them and even put a few on my portfolio! I took some fun pics last night in the park too - so added them onto my folio as well. Here is one pic of the Canadian Geese that Cali & I saw today. (she saw her first waterfowl today!)

I recently created a Twitter account. Actually - I created one last March - but never really knew anything about it - so never used it. NOW I use it daily! LOL. It's fun! I follow mostly celebrities .....Ashton Kutcher, John Mayer, Wil Wheaton, People Magazine, Larry King, Joe Rogan, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Ritchie, Soleil Moon Frye...I get some updates sent to my cellphone. Some people follow me too - it's fun! I've now learned how I can update my status with a photo from my cellphone!!! I'm hooked!

Jeff got to Vancouver fine. He's having dinner with my mom & Rick tonight. Tomorrow he is going to meet up with Hannah, Victoria, Tammy & Dave then he's off to the Tradeshow! It completely sucks a$$ that I cannot be there - I am super jealous that he's with my friends and family. I hope I get to go home soon.
