Oh - I forgot to mention - Jeff & Judi came to the Shelter on Sunday! It was great to have them there. They came at closing - so I was able to show them around a little bit, and introduce them to some of the pets and people that I work with.
Later this summer, (July or August), I hope that I can take a few hours off work one Thursday and go out to Lake Havasu with Jeff & the girls to meet up with Judi for a couple of days. I had so much fun last September when I drove up with the girls for a few days.
Oh - by the way - I now Twitter! HAHA! Twitter is still confusing to me. The cool thing is is: I can follow tweets from some of my favourite celebrities! I follow John Mayer, Ryan Seacrest, joe rogan, Oprah, Miley Cyrus, Pink...etc. We all just post our "latest happenings" on our tweet sites.
My mom is coming out to see me on May 7 - 17!!! I can't wait to see her! Unfortunately I won't be able to request any time off when she's here though. I don't have the minimum amt of hours accrued yet to request a day off. SO bummed about that!
This weekend - Jeff will be in Vancouver for a pet supply show. He's going to be meeting up with my family and friends while he's there. I am extremely jealous; and I am not looking forward to staying home alone this weekend. I just want to be a recluse and hide under my bed covers all weekend.
For Jeff's 39th Birthday, I bought him some tickets to go see Jay Mohr in June. He's an actor/comedian and Jeff told me the night we all went to go see Joe Rogan that he'd really like to see him! Today at work I told all my friends; and a bunch of them right away bought tickets too! I am so excited! If anyone else wants to go - tickets are $33 - Friday, June 19th at 8pm in the Irvine Spectrum! The more the merrier!!!!

So happy your mom is going to visit you soon. Don't worry about working... you will have lots of time in the evenings to spend time together :-) If your mom needs any California U-Turn lessons before she leaves tell her to call me ;-)
Don't be sad about Jeff coming up here and you are staying home... I am sure the weather is going to be nicer in California :-) Have a girlie weekend! Chick flicks and pedicures or something fun like that.
