Our Anniversary and the Adventures of Felix the cat...

First of all - I haven't blogged in a few days....I wanted to say Happy 3rd Anniversary to Jeff!!!
We went to OPAH for dinner and snickered at all the plastic people that were there. Dinner was pretty good - we just had appys and a drink. Afterwards we drove down to Chilli's and hung out with Fargo, (our bartender) - ordered some wings to go - and ended up eating them there. :-)

When we got home; we noticed that Felix was gone. Nowhere to be seen. I was MORTIFIED and spent about 3hrs looking for him until about 2am bawling like a little kid. I slept for about an hour or two that night - and looked again yesterday morning for another hour. I went home at lunch to post flyers and search for another 20mins.

At about 3pm yesterday, AVID called me at work to say that some girl had my cat, (he was alive!) - and to call her cell. I called her - got her on the phone and I said " Thank you thank you thank you - let me know where you live and I can come get him". She said he was safe in their living room and said that she'd have to ask her dad.....then she hung up. I called back about 4x with no answer - Jeff called her about 3x and she kept letting her phone go to VM. Jeff decided to text her and she wrote back - "leave me alone about the cat - have to go now"....I WAS PISSED. I mean - who calls AVID to track the owner down - and then blows the owner off?!?!

Luckily after asking all my neighbours - we kind of assumed it was this one house....Jeff got home and we went into their yard to go knock on their door - No Answer. We were not sure what to do - then all of a sudden Felix appears out from under on of their bushes in the front yard. I am so angry with her and her family - but I am so glad my cat is safe.
