New 'DO'

It's SO beautiful outside today! I had a great day to myself. Although I had a crappy sleep - I was awake from 0200am - 0430am; and had to take an Exedrin PM in order to fall asleep again.

I made reservations for our GIRL GETAWAY to PALM SPRINGS!! I can't wait til June!

...Elena - look!!! Get ready for some serious heat and girl-time!!

Today I got my new hair 'do'! It's so much fun going to the salon for a new look. I don't do it very long - in fact; the last time I had a hair-cut was 26 weeks ago, (almost 7mos!).

Here's Felix the poor little kitty! He's still doing good...he has his moments, but socializing is getting much better. He trusts me - but not Jeff yet.

BTW, I just hired my old fitness trainer (Riana) again. I'm going to be seeing her Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. She's so awesome, easy to talk too and we get along so well. She's also given me a big discount on the cost - so it will be good on my wallet too. I'm hoping this gets me out of my "cocoon of withdrawal" soon - that's what I call it - hahaha!!

He was born Sep 25, 1996; and I adopted him from the Vet Clinic that I worked at, when he came in as a newborn with his mom and siblings. I gave him to my Grandma Ross, and she loved him so much. When her & my Uncle Johnny passed away, I took "Sandy" back to live with me. In his prime; he weighed 18lbs and is now an indoor cat. When he first came to California, he brought a lizard into my house! In February 2008, I had to make the tough decision to remove is right eye as it was causing him a lot of pain. He's my little pirate and loves to try to get outside!

I met Felix at the Shelter I worked at. He was left at the shelter gate taped up in a cardboard box. He had EXTREME behaviour issues and they were going to euthanize him. I adopted him. He unfortunately sprayed and urinated in the house - so he ended up trying every mood altering drug out there - and even wore piddle pants in the house. For a year, I tried desperately to find a new home for him. On Dec 11, 2010; Jeff & I drove him out to his Aunts' horseranch in Murrietta to live out his life chasing critters and basking in the sun.

~ I played a game of Ice Hockey during a period break for the NHL Canucks game when I was about 8yrs old

~ Jeff and I swam with two dolphins in the ocean while on a trip to Cancun in July 2005
~ When I was about 12yrs old, I picked up a baby rattlesnake in the wild without knowing it was one! - - - CRIKEY!!!
