I am planning on going on an All-Girl Getaway in June! Elena is coming back down here - it's also her birthday weekend so we'll be able to celebrate with her. I miss her and can't wait to see her again!!!
Every year - Michele and some of her friends go to the Desert and spend the weekend in the pool in 110'F, (that's 40'C!), heat. This year - I got invited and was asked if I'd like to extend the invite to some of my close girls!
I cannot wait!!!! We're going to wake up early on Friday morning - head out to the Palm Springs - stop by the Outlet Malls for some shopping then continue on to the resort until Sunday afternoon. Each time that I've gone up to Palm Springs - I've always wanted to take the Gondola up the mountain.
There is this show on TV that I just love - it's all about getting away with your girlfriends! They went to NYC - and another time to Tahoe. They give tips and ideas on fun tours to do - or shops to stop in on! My kind of weekend!
Speaking of travel - my Dad & Kenny are leaving for England tomorrow. They will be taking a train and travelling around together for about 10 days.
Jeff & I are still planning on going to Maui in September to stay at one of our Timeshares. We booked it in November - but he was hesitant to go there - so we were going to change it. Now we've settled with it - and we are looking forward to it.
I really had fun when we went to Dominican Republic - but we'd like to go somewhere a little less poverty-stricken this trip. I enjoy meeting the locals and trying to communicate with them; learning about different cultures. We've had some good times travelling! We've had good luck too!
Jeff is on his way back from San Diego now. He went down yesterday to celebrate Maya's 3rd birthday at the beach - then spent the night at Steve's!
There is a show in San Diego right now - until October - called "Body Works". I can't wait to see it - I've wanted to catch the display for years now! Tammy & I found Balboa Park last month and saw the posters for it. When my shift changes I'll be making plans to go.
