Today was a sad day at work. I had a hard time saying goodbye to a very sweet dog; so when I came home - I started to cry into my dog "Cola's" neck and told her I loved her so much and that she was a very lucky dog.
On another note - I have been socializing with a very terrified young cat over the past few days - avoiding the bites - and today I was FINALLY able to cuddle with him without him threatening me. His weakness???!!! "STRING". I took full advantage of his lovey dovey mood and was able to finally vaccinate him! I think that he's going to come around and be ok.
"Cola" is doing well on her meds still. She actually fights us now - so it's getting harder and harder to put the drops in her eyes. Her urine SG has gone up to normal levels and she's stabilizing. Next - Dr. Heller would like us to do an MRI on her brain - but that's $1,000 that we don't have at this time. (To rule out a brain tumour on her pituitary gland to see if that is why she is showing symptoms of Central Diabetes Insipidus).
Last night I went to a Travel Photography class at the local college. This guy rocks. I am going on a Photo Walking Tour with him next month - and I hope to find someone else to join me!! He does a lesson as well as assists with the hands on info. The more people you have - the cheaper it is...and also - after the class you get to go to his house and meet on his big screen to discuss and critique photos. If anyone is interested...$100, (or less), for a 3hr walk at the San Juan Capistrano Mission on March 23rd!
I also got my new backdrop in the mail a few days ago - and my car magnet, (which I am NOT impressed by the way it printed - it's very very dark). I can't wait to get some more subjects - so I'm going to set up one Sunday and ask my neighbours if I can borrow their dogs to increase my portfolio. fun fun fun!

I would go with you but it is a bit far of a drive!
If I wil the lotto I will send you the $$$ for Cola's MRI... but don't hold your breath. What are the chances of Rhonda knowing 2 people who win the lotto?!?!
