Work has been going great still. Here's a little American Cocker that I named "Oreo" - he's so cute - but SO neglected!! His eyes, ears & skin all need meds. He's got such a cute little face on him - reminds me of my Cocker "Peaches".
Tonight while we were all getting ready to leave - we noticed a dog running around the parking lot. We all ran out and tried to get him - he's a Chow x Shepherd; and he was T-E-R-R-I-F-I-E-D to the point where he was giving us the "watch out or I'll bite ya'" look.
We were chasing him around and he ran up to me so I threw the slip leash over his head, snapped it back and VOILA - I got him!! We tried to get him used to us on the walk in with some treats and food. He's just really really unsure of everything.
Why would you do this to your dog?? Who takes their pet to a parking lot - opens the door - pushes them out and drives off?? Do you have a FRICKING heart? Is this how they were raised??
Someone once told me a few years ago at a church event, that animals do not have souls and will not go to heaven. The girls I work with warned me when I first started my job that I will eventually start hating people. It's starting.

Christy, did you feel the earthquake tonight? It was a 4.5 north of Los Angeles down to the Mexican border.
