omgosh....crunch time

Things are getting a little overwhelming for me right now! It's my last week at work and I've got so much to finish off.

I need to start my Xmas shopping - complete decorating the house, clean/organize for my mom and take Sandy in for his Lion Cut!! LOL - yes - I'm shaving him!!! My biggest worry is that none of my Canadian people will get their presents in time for Xmas as I need to ship everything - but wait until I can afford to first start shopping for them!!

I am going to go to the Animal Shelter's Xmas party on Weds night - I have lunch plans today, tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!! HOLY!!!

My weekend was pretty low-key. I was sick all weekend and stayed on the couch with my pets. Jeff was in Anaheim all week and just got back yesterday. His Xmas party was on Saturday night and I skipped that too. I started decorating the house a little bit - I hope that it ends up looking ok. Our house is so cold right now with no heater still - and the walls are white - so it adds to the cool feeling. My New Years' resolution is to paint the walls this year. I am going to hire someone to do it Michele did her house and it looks SO cozy and welcoming!! Someone else I know did her house - and it only took 2 DAYS with hired help!!!

This coming weekend will be my final free Saturday and Sunday in a very long time. I want to make it count. I think I want to go to the OC Swap Meet to look for Xmas presents. I would also love to do something with the dogs - but maybe I'll save that for a weekday that I have off. I can take them to the dog park by my house on a weekday and it won't be too crowded. We'll see.

I started addressing my Xmas cards...I have to get them off in a "timely matter" apparently - so I just need to get some Canadian stamps so Tammy gets hers soon. ;-)
