Tonight, Jeff & I have tickets to go to a party at a local restaurant called The Newport Rib Company! Cathie and her boyfriend John are also going to come - I'm excited!
This morning Jeff brought some Starbucks' home for us and Michele, and I went over to sit and chat for about an hour or so in her dining room. Their very close friends, The Sallee's, are going through such a sad time right now. If you've been reading their blog; then you are up to speed, (the link to their blog has been posted on mine in the column to the riight for about a year now). Gary is going into hospice this week. That means that they are just going to keep him as comfortable as they can so that he's no longer in pain. They are such a strong family and even though I don't know them REALLY well - my heart breaks for all of them.
After Michele and I had our coffees, we all got ready and met up about an hour later to drive to the Ladera Ranch Dog Park. This park is for their community ONLY - so Jake hopped the fence to let us in. How illegal is that?! LOL!! Jeff came too which was nice!! The dogs all behaved and we had a blast in the hot sunshine!!!

Sandy also had fun in the sun - he's starting to love his new "do" now; and rolls around in the dirt garden!
