Whew!!

Yesterday was a long day. I'm going to rewind a little bit:

Jeff came to pick me up from work on Tuesday and he had both dogs. We drove tot he kennel, and were going to just drop Cali off; and Karen at the kennel convinced us to drop Cola off - FOR FREE until Saturday!!! OMG that was SO nice!!! Cola loves it there, and was off like a bolt - Cali followed, and I could tell that they were going to have fun. Cali is staying at the kennel until we get home in December - and Cola might too - but Rich and Lucie offered to go get her on the 26th, we just haven't decided yet.

After Jake's Birthday party on Tuesday night - Jeff went to play ball, and I went home to pack and organize the house for Lucie and Rich's stay. We got to bed at about 1am. UGH.

6am came way too fast and we got up - finished organizing and our ride came at 7:15. We got to the airport super early - but it was so nice!!!! Jeff heard his name being paged over the PA, and went to go find out why. His wallet was found on the ground by security - OMG. Can you imagine?? Luckily everything was intact.

Our flight left at about 10am, and we got into Seattle at 12:10pm. It was nippy!!! We rented our Dodge Charger and started the trek north. We stopped through downtown Seattle - we're going to spend a night there on the way home - do the Space Needle - Pike Street market and possibly the cemetaries where Bruce & Brandon Lee are at. Is Jimi Hendrix in Seattle too?

We got into Canada at about 4:30pm, and went directly to my mom's - napped - showered then Katie came over for a visit for dinner.

Later in the evening; Christina & Rick came to pick us up and we met up with Tammy at this really cool Irish Pub closeby. It was a great night; and Jeff and I were out like a light when we got home.

Today - Jeff is in meetings with Anipet and others. Tonight I am going to Rhonda's - everyone is bringing their kids over for a pot luck!! :-)

I can't wait to see Elena and take her with us up to Whistler for the night. Rhonda & Kal will be up there for the night too. I am looking forward to it.
