Last night - some of the neighbourhood kids were playing on the tree outside our front yard after dark - they're pretty cool kids and we joke around with them all the time; so I told Jeff to put the Hallowe'en mask on and go out and try to scare them with it. LOL - all in good humour.
By the time we got the mask out - they of course were gone...but I redirected my "evilness" towards Cali. I told Jeff to put it on and see what Cali would do.
SHE FREAKED!!! She was so scared - it was cute!! She now knows it's Jeff under the mask, and it's not so scary to her. Here is some footage of the first time she saw it.
Once outside, Jeff took the mask off to show her it was really ok....
On another note - this guy - Corporal; is at the MV Animal Shelter. I think he should join our herd. (kidding) - Isn't he ADORABLE???!!!! I hope he finds his "forever home" soon.

Corporal can stay in his current environment...thank you! As for Cali...she is more like a Scared-ee Cat than a Dog...That was Fun! Too bad the video's are hard to see.
I know - the little camera doesn't have a flash on it for filming.
Maybe tonight - I'll do it again to get a better light. (we turned the lights off to make it scary too)

Awww. Poor little Cali! You guys are soo mean. Lol! I loved how the second video shows Cola going to the bathroom. Just when her BFF is going through trauma, she decides to go take a leak. Classy!
OK - I just had to watch that again and point out my new observations :-)
1. Notice that Cola is going pee and you guys are totally interupting her privacy while torturing poor Cali.
2. Cali uses the doggie door while the real door is open.
3. Jeff is wearing shorts and it is the end of OCTOBER! Wow... I am missing that California sunshine SO much!!

1) Cali always uses the doggie door - she RUNS through it and scrapes her back on it.
2) Cola could have cared less about the mask - she started jumping up at Jeff only b/c we were laughing so hard at Cali.
3) It's 95'F here today - that's 33'C - you ARE missing out!!!
Upon further thought, I have decided to call the Humane Society.
