Rules to live by at the SD Zoo:
1) pack your own lunch or you'll need to take a 2nd mortgage on your home.2) wear running shoes
3) tell them your Canadian and you can get the Maple Leaf Discount ($24 for each of us!)
It was a smoking hot day - and I fell inlove with the Meerkats!! Love them!! We took the Sky-tram and the bus tour - it was awesome!
Afterwards - mom and I stopped by the Carlsbad Outlet Mall and scored on clothes! I bought 6 shirts and a pair of Skechers for a t otal of $55.
I can go back to that Outlet mall anytime and spend lots....HOLY!!!

OK... add the San Diego Zoo to the list of things I want to do with you when I come to visit one day. You better just book a month of work ;-)
