Tahoe: April 11 - 14, 2008

Jeff and I arrived in Reno on Friday at about 10am. Elena landed about 2hrs after, and after picking her up, we were on our way to the cabin - what a great weekend!!

We hiked, played guitar hero, had some drinks, shared A LOT of laughs and just hung out! It was so nice to see Paul & Robyn again - they live in Folsom, CA, (close to Sacramento).

The weather was so beautiful - see all that snow at our cabin?! Regardless - we spent most of our days in flip flops, capris, tanks and shorts!

Elena is not a nature lover, (she's actually a self-proclaimed nature-hater), so we staged an Intervention on Sunday. We spent the entire day - hiking and running around under the sun - by the end of the day - she was a tree hugger!!

(to-be-seen next in Tofino
up a Redwood refusing to come down)

On Saturday, we went to the top of "Heavenly" - which is the big mountain in South Lake Tahoe. Us gals weren't too prepared...we got up there and the snow was a plenty. We were in our flip flops!!!
