Photo Excursion

Angela and I met up with our photo class in Norco today. It was a lot of fun! We both rented lenses for this excursion.

I rented a Macro 100mm f/2.8 and it took some time getting used to. Of course, it's only good for macro shots, so I didn't use it very often.

I'm posting most of the "favourites" on my portfolio, (CLICK HERE). There were models there that were all dressed in Western garb - very cool!

After the excursion, I drove to Maya's 2nd Birthday Party - it was cute! The weather turned and it got so cold. I ended up leaving early, b/c I still had such a bad Migraine - with no drugs. I was kind of miserable all day.

Jeff and I went home, curled up in bed and watched "Secondhand Lions" ----PERFECT!!

So are you going to save for a macro lens? Or do you think you wouldn't get much use out of it? What a great idea to rent one and try it out :)

Never saw that movie...in fact, I've never heard of it.

Wow, you do have a eye for taking a great shot. And what are "macro shots"?
