We had a great weekend!! Saturday morning – I woke up at 7am and was out of the house by 8am – on the road for Palm Desert with Cola! The drive out only took me 2hrs!
Rich and I spent the day together – we left Cola in their backyard for the day and took care of some errands.
It was so beautiful out! We hit the market – like a swap meet, then drove down to El Paseo – which is very much like Robson Street & Rodeo Drive...a very expensive street. We sat on the corner at Starbucks and people-watched – what a variety!! We had a few jaw-droppers go by and a whole lot of laughs each!!
We got back home at about 3pm and started to get ready for this 40’s vintage party that they got invited to. We all got dressed up – it was fun! I wore all of Lucie’s clothes! The house where we went was just amazing! The hostess had her baby-grand piano converted to a player-piano. This means that there’s a motor in it and it plays by itself. It was so neat!

Jeff showed up at about 1am – I was so happy to see him – I love him so much!! I missed him! Thank you baby!! ...to drive all that way after a full day!! You made me so happy to see you!!
On Sunday – we all woke up – Lucie and I were both so hung-over!! Also – to make things worse – Cola had thrown up on their white carpet 2x during the time we were out!! I was mortified!!! She had drunk a little bit of the pool water on Saturday – but I didn’t even think that the small amount of the salt water she drank would cause her to vomit!! I felt awful!! We worked at those stains all weekend!!!

I thought Jeff was going to
leave me here...at The
Betty Ford Centre!
We went to a Polo Crosse game later on Sunday and it was amazing! I had never been to one – what a blast!! The horses were beautiful – the weather was HOT and we got to go out and stomp the divots – like in “Pretty Woman” the movie. I got bit by a few fire-ants – and wow – my feet are still burning!!!

On Monday – we drove out with Cola to the San Andreas Fault – to hike around a real “Mirage” – it was so hot, there was nature all around and it was a great time!
Jeff and I got home last night at about 6pm. Traffic was a little bad and my GPS didn’t realize there was construction at one of the junctions, so I went on a little detour. Panic!!!
I’m glad to be home safe, but it was such a great time!! Thank you Rich & Lucie!

Sounds like you had a fun weekend! I love your pictures :)
Maybe my brain is not working properly because of my fever.....but what do you mean by "stomp the divots" (I've never seen all of Pretty Woman...well, maybe I did, I just can't remember).
You look great at your vintage party!!! That sounds like fun to have such a party. Your pictures look great from your trip and I am glad to see that your GPS got you to your destination.
