Tonight I am going with my friend Angela from work to her Photography Class! I am so excited! She told me about it last week, and I brought all my gear to work with me! There are 10 classes altogether, (actually 9 now as I did not start last week with the rest of the class), but it sounds pretty good! Every Monday night, with 2 'excursions' - a night time trip to Balboa Island, then a day trip to be determined! At the end there is a quiz night. I'll see how I like it tonight and if I love it, then I'll sign up - if possible!
Oh - when I drove to work on Friday morning, I saw the SPOOKIEST thing!!! I was coming up to the Cemetery where Nicole Brown Simpson is buried, and at the tops of about 6-8 telephone poles, there was ONE Turkey Vulture on each pole - sunning themselves....they are the spookiest bird of all - and when they sun themselves, they just look horrid!!! These are HUGE Raptor birds - larger than a Bald Eagle.

In October, I wanted to drive up towards Bakersfield to watch the Migration Flight - but decided that there are enough of them down here to appreciate. Besides - they smell pretty bad, too! It's not as awesome as driving up to Brackendale to do the Bald Eagle Count!!!
Lastnight, Jeff and I went to go see the movie "No Country of Old Men"( - or something), and it was so violent! I was afraid to watch the screen at times, in case I'd see someone else get killed! My favourite part was the popcorn that I ate!!! I was craving Movie Theatre Popcorn and I saved up my points to get some!!! I gave myself 5 points for that!
Angela went to the Ducks/Sharks game lastnight and she sat only 3 rows up from the goal net! WOW!! I asked her on Friday to keep an eye out for Bertuzzi and report back to me...she actually doesn't think he's as good looking as I do - but she did take some photos! Thank you so much Angela!!!
I am now off to spend the rest of my lunch break trying to get some SuperBowl tickets for Jeff!
