~ Crazy Weekend ~

What a whirlwind of a weekend!!! Honestly; I would like a few days to recover...

On Friday we had “Beer Friday” at work from 3pm onwards – so that was a nice kick off!!

Jeff and I invited Ken over for dinner and Friday night festivities – he brought his Guitar Hero and they rocked the house! Furniture and Pets were cast aside, (LOL), it was a great night. We ordered Wings and had good times! Our neighbour Steve had to come over to save us and help us unlock the hidden songs from the Internet – Thanks Steve! :-)

On Saturday, we got up early and drove to Signal Hill to Jeff’s dads’ house. He had some surgery on Friday and we spent most of the day with everyone there.

On the way home – we stopped off at a school so that we could watch Jeff’s nephews try out for Football! They are so cute!! They live so close to us, and we don’t see them nearly as often – but that’s changing. They have Football every Saturday; so we’ll be out there – with orders to bring “Cola” – they’re “brother from another mother” as they call her.

Later in the day after about 40mins to relax at home – we got ready for dinner and met up with Jeff’s mom, Judi – Sue and they’re friend Bryan at a restaurant called “Cedar Creek” in Laguna Niguel. It was amazing!

After dinner, we went to a new church to try it out...

Sunday – we woke early to get hyped and ready for the Football Game...we drove to Ken’s house and met a few people there. They have some very cool friends from North Carolina and I finally got to meet them. Jeff used to work with the guy in College. About a year and a half ago; they quit both of their jobs and decided to pack their SUV and drive allover North America – how amazing their stories were!

The Chargers lost – it was disappointing, but kind of expected. The Patriots have been undefeated all season.

Jeff & I went home; took Cola for a run, then got ready for a Fantasy Football friends’ 40th Birthday at Dave n’ Busters. This place is like a Chuckee-Cheese for adults – and supervised kids. It’s a lot of fun. We had a private banquet room and watched a slideshow...great night!
...I over-ate - & I'm now full!

I better go start a CL listing for my Ford Explorer - Tammy will have my head if I don't have an ad set up - I would like to sell it ASAP...I bought it for $10,000 from my dad, and I'm hoping I can get $1,000 - regardless - that's money I can use right now - right?!

Doesn't Guitar-Hero rock? I'm totally OBSESSED with it. I can't get those cheesy songs out of my head.
