I've heard from a couple of you lately reminding me that my blog has not been updated since last week...that makes me so happy that some of you actually enjoy reading about my life!! :-)
Today at work we had a luncheon with turkey, ham and all the "fixings" - it was delicious! Jeff took my truck to work today to get it all maintained for our drive to Vancouver on Friday. New wipers, oil change and fluid top up! His dad has some chains that we can use. I'm so excited! I have to do some last minute shopping tonight and then start packing up! I have to be completely packed by tomorrow night, b/c Jeff is dropping me off at work on Friday, and picking me up at noon so we can leave straight from the office.
I feel pretty awful still! I went to the Dr last week and got put on Amoxil - yuck! My strept throat has now turned into a bad cold. I'm all stuffy and congested - but it's getting better!! I hope Jeff doesn't get it!!
Lastnight we went to Brianna & Jasons' house, (Jeff's sister). They have 2 boys and we went for dinner and to do the gift exchange. It was nice to see them - they live so close to us, (6miles), but we don't see them enough! We bought the boys a Wii game, but they are getting a Wii from Santa - so we felt bad that they couldn't open the gift lastnight. I disguised the gift pretty good though. I told them it was very fragile and might break if they shake it - threw in some rattling trinkets to throw them off.

I'll bet Jeff is happy about being enclosed in a vehicle with your germs... he will be sick too in no time!
That's so funny that your strep throat is now a bad cold because I'm in the same boat!! This situation that we are in appears to be the sequel to Single White Female.
I too have hidden gifts within itself - like putting a small gift inside a big box - so sneaky.
Just don't forget to keep on with the antibiotics, even if you are feeling better. It would be aweful for you to get a superbug while you are on vacation. Feel better!
