~ Montage Sunset ~

Lastnight, we packed up and set out for the Montage Resort to sit on the cliff and watch the Tall Ships go by. When we got down to the PCH, we saw a few ships in the ocean - but they were already all south. They looked beautiful, though!

We parked our cars and the Merks' had brought everything!!! Pasta, buns, salad, wine - tablecloth! They did awesome!!! They were so prepared. I brought wine, grapes, chips and cheezies!

We got to our table, which was the same table that Michele sprinkled some of her mom's ashes - it was perfect and so beautiful!!! We were right on the edge and had a front row seat to the sunset, (and the wind - but it was still perfect!) The kids had their macaroni, and everything was just so perfectly amazing!! It was a great feast, and Cola even got to enjoy some of it!

After dinner, Michele and I went camera happy while the kids, (our husbands fell into that category - kidding!!), played football in the grassy field behind us.

I'm on Jeff's laptop right now, but as soon as I get all my pictures downloaded to my computer, I will add them.

Jeff's leaving in an hour to go to Phoenix for a baseball game. The PetSmart executives won an auction to go to a game with Jeff and his boss. Tonight, the teams are the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. St. Louis Cardinals. He'll be hojme tomorrow afternoon, but is going to miss the kick off for the first football game of the season!!!

I'm going to go riding tomorrow afternoon, might go on a trail - who knows. I just want to ride. My mom told me some of her riding stories - they are home now, and they had such a great time! They're at the Dr. right now for her pulled groin. LOL

I think that I'm going to get ready to head to the pool after Jeff goes. Hope you all have a great Saturday!
