~ Mondays' absolutely suck ~

Well - I figured out how to fix my blog...for some reason all of my page elements that were originally on the right side - were all under my entries - all in one long column. To fix this, I went into "Edit Posts" and went to the most recent entry - scrolled through it, and re-published it. Weird, huh?

I am SO EXCITED that some of my family & friends are going to come down from CANADA for my birthday!!! I cleaned my garage yesterday - threw out a lot of junk that we've never used and never will. Organized the shelving units - bought some storage bins at Big Lots, (the BEST place to have a shopping spree as it's cheap!!), bought some Hallow e'en/Autumn Decor. I might buy some more on my way home from work again. I love to be organized. I want to figure out how to store stuff in the rafters above the garage door. Looks kind of tricky.

My vision:
I went through the IKEA catalogue, and they sell really long curtains, (floor to ceiling), so what I might do, is buy some funky decor, and also a cable to string them up with. I want to put a "wall" to cover each side of the garage...another "wall" that would go in front of the washer & dryer. I can totally get this done if I put my head to work.

I also emailed Michele to get some info on the painter that they used to paint all the walls in their house. For those of you that have not seen our house - it would be impossible to paint by myself. It's got this 30' wall - kind of like a funky A-frame that goes way up. Here are some pictures of the house BEFORE we moved in to give you an idea of the height:


We do have some decor on the walls - but I just want it to "flow". I want it to be cozy and not so cold.

Tonight, I am going riding as I didn't go yesterday. It is just too hot to go during the day, and by the time it cooled down, it was dinner time - and Jeff and I had a night out at our Italian Restaurant.

The Ranch has been my favourite "local" place to visit on holidays and I first started going in 1989. I have not been since 2003, (?) and miss it soo much!!! I cannot wait to go next summer!!! Here are few of my favourite pictures:
