It's Wednesday today. 3 days after my horse show. It did not go well.

Jeff and I got to the barn at 9:30am as told, and got through with registration. My approximate time would be about 11:30am. His mom came and his Dad & Carol came at about 11:00am.

I met Justin's owner - he was there by 7:30am to make sure that he didn't miss me. He's such a nice man!! Him and his dog, Morgan.

Eventually, it was time to saddle up and get in the ring. It was now 2:00pm. ugh!

Justin and I were first up - Jeff was using the camcorder, and Judi was using my DSLR. We entered the arena, and did a circle at a lope, then started to do my poles. He did such a great job down to the end and back. I was about 2 poles away from finishing, when I hit a pole with my foot - my stirrup was knocked out; and the pole went flying. Justin was running full bore, and ended up veering right - I slid left and was thrown off the saddle with no stirrup. I hit the ground and was in the most pain than I have ever been in; and I coudn't breathe.

Ambulance came, and people were tending to me on the dirt. I went to the hospital and had tests galore. Their findings:
- partiall collapsed lung.
- bruised from my ribs down to my hip on my left side.
- excruciating muscle pain.

I just got home lastnight and I feel like shit. I can't walk without a walker -this sucks!! I hate this. I am so disappointed!!

I'm going to be home alone today, and will not be checking email as it's upstairs. I had 30mins with Jeff's computer before he went to work, and wanted to blog. :-)

Gotta go now - Jeff needs to leave.
