I'm on my lunch break right now and rec'd an email from Kelly - She'd like me to come down & ride tonight, so that I can run some polls. I'm also going to head to the stable office to get an entry form for the competition. YIKES! I am kinda' nervous now!! I mean - all of the English competitions that I've been in have been so BIG - with masses of people and masses of groups competing!!! I guess I'll know more tonight. I'm sure that there's nothing to be nervous about - but I haven't even SEEN a Gymkhana competition!!!
I'm so thankful to Justin's owner, that I want to do some portraits for him one of these nights. I want to let Justin loose and take some shots of him bucking, and rearing up. I'll just leave them in the locker for him.
I found this video, and it will give you an idea as to what I might be doing at the competition:

Oh yah - forgot to add this last night - when I was riding; Justin had his head turned at the wrong angle...example - I am riding round the ring to the left...his head is supposed to be looking towards the inside of the ring - not the outside. So - in order to correct this; Kelly told me to pull hard on his left rein, and do tight circles. Basically, he spun about 50x to the left and I was so dizzy!!!! I almost threw up!
I'm going to ride again on Sunday evening when it cools down, as Jeff is going to be at Ken & Monica's to watch the Chargers hopefully defeat Tom Brady's team. Go Chargers!!!
