In Canadian-speak - it means HYPER!!
Lastnight, I rode Justin - and I decided to take him on a trail. I was a little anxious to get out there as I have not been on any of the trails in San Juan Capistrano. He started prancing like a pony as soon as I got him on the first trail, so I knew that I was up for a fight. As soon as I walked him through a stream - he bolted. He started to rear and buck and just wanted to RUN!!! I LOVED IT!!! He was literally "full of beans"!! Although, at this point - I did get a little nervous as I didn't want him to throw me and take off. He did run full-bore up a hill and tried to throw me to the side into some bushes - but I conquered him! Ha!!!!! I turned him around, and we headed back to the barn - he was mad. Instead of tacking him down, I went into an arena and let him run. I wanted to practice my lope posture, turns and rollovers.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LEASING!!!!
After my ride, (1.5hrs), I ran into a man that I've met before, and he said anytime that I want to do trails - he can show me where to go. I also hope that Jeff is able to start riding soon, so that I can go down with him and ride. Michele seemed interested, and was asking me questions about it - I hope they can make it down one of these days to walk around and see the place - watch a lesson - see the difference between English and Western.
I really hope that I am able to do the competition on the 23rd. I probably won't know until Wednesday.

Tonight; Jeff, Cola and I are going to go to the Montage in South Laguna, and the Merks' are all going to join us! We are going to get some food/wine, and head down there to sit on the cliffs and watch as the Tall Ships have their Sunset parade from Laguna to Dana Point. Michele - bring your camera! http://tallshipsfestival.com/schedule.html

I hope you all have a great weekend! My mom and Rick will be home this weekend - I had a good chat with my mom yesterday. She's really bummed about pulling her groin - but someone whittled her a cane as she can't walk very well! How cute! I also can't wait to see their photos! They've run into bear and deer, but no moose.
This weekend, I am going to maybe go to the Lake, Beach or Pool - Jeff is in Phoenix Saturday and Sunday for a baseball game. I want to get more sun as I'm peeling like crazy!!
