~ Countdown until my horseshow ~

3.5 days left until my horse show! I rode lastnight, and had Bev a.k.a. HITLER as my instructor. I have not ridden with such discipline since I quit riding English years ago! She was really a great instructor and I learned a lot - but OUCH!!!

Walk in a two point without stirrups...trot in a two-point without stirrups...gallop in a two-point without stirrups!!! OMG!!! I was dying - but it was a "good-sort-of-dying"!

I went to the hot tub when I got home - and feel ok today - TOMORROW will be a killer. Although, I am going riding tonight again.

This weekend is going to be a litte busy. Friday night - Jeff and I are going to the MUSE concert. Some friends are also going.

Saturday is MY day - I will be at the barn! Jeff is going into Hollywood to watch a college football game. Either UCLA - or USC - I can't remember.

Sunday is my competition. I am so glad that Jeff will be there.

Jeff told me that he booked us our HONEYMOON!! He has Oct 26-Nov 2 booked into an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana - The Dominican Republic!! I am so excited about this! We weren't able to take one when we got married, and now that we can afford it - we are going to take advantage of our "free week" that our timeshare gave us when we signed up. We are going to be upgrading to all-inclusive, so it's not going to be free - but it is significantly discounted!

We were really worried that we were going to lose this trip. It actually expires at the end of November, so if we don't "use it" - we "lose it".

Oh - by the way....it rained today!! It's going to rain tomorrow, Saturday and the weather is supposed to clear up by Sunday! The rain here is so pretty - and makes the air smell so nice! I really like it! It's not like Vancouver rain - that attacks you from all sides!

Our housekeeper Sylvia showed up at our house today. We were completely unprepared!! I did not expect her until next week!! She's awesome, I hope she figures it all out though! I usually set everything out for her. :-( I feel so bad!
