~ Tell me why I don't like Mondays ~

Jeff and I were driving home yesterday, and there was a little dog running up the sidewalk all alone by the park up by our complex. I jumped out to say 'hi' and she flopped over on her back - she was so happy to see me! I picked her up - she was cute!!! Looked like Cola, (same colours/markings), but more Chihuahua x Pomeranian looking. Jeff called the number on the tag, and the woman was so rude to him! She said leave the dog alone and that she'd find her own way back! Well - I have never seen this dog before, and Jeff told her to send someone to meet us somewhere.

We drove around looking for her late teenage son, and it turns out they live in a different complex altogether - but on the same hill. When I told him where his dog was, he was so surprised that she went so far this time - at least he was happy to see his dog!! There's no way we were just going to leave her on the street! I would die if I had seen or heard anything happen. Some people just don't get it!

Today, Jeff has left for Phoenix until Wednesday. I'm bored and I'm so tired! I tried to clean house for Sylvia tonight after work, but I'm so unmotivated with another headache. I think that Excel is slowly trying to suck my brain out. I have been working on ONE spreadsheet for 2 weeks now. I am fried.

Poor animals - when I got home, the temp in the house was 87'F! Daddy forgot to turn on the AC!! ;-) I threw Cola into the shower right away and gave her a good cool bath - she stunk anyway.

As I was leaving to take Cola for a car-ride tonight, a tow truck came and snatched one of the cars from the Ignorant A$$HOLE's house! How exciting! I didn't know until I got outside, but Michele was actually clapping!! :-) Last week, I was telling her that one of these days I am going to write the HOA to complain about our restless nights caused by these guys. She convinced me to write my letter to the HOA tonight, so when I got home, I got on it! As I was writing, I was getting all worked up and angry - Jeff called and he was a little scared of me! Ha ha!

Oh - I got a free game rental tonight; "Ice Age 2"!! I haven't hooked it up yet - but I hope that game is EASY...I was hoping to find trivia games etc, but I think PlayStation 2 is definately a gamesystem that prides itself on maneuvers and not skill testing questions!

I tried all day to get Jimmy Buffet tickets! No luck! I can't believe how freaking expensive his tickets are!!! $86 + $10 service fee just to get a seat!!! The concert is Sept 29th. My latest attempt gave me ONE ticket at $126 + $18 service fee! I didn't take anything!!

I am also putting together a "guest list" for my Birthday! Jeff wants to get our friends and families together for the occassion! I know that most people from out of town won't come - 3 of my girlfriends are all pregnant right now! Rhonda - 3 more weeks, Pamela - Oct 1 and Teresa - Dec 1!!! Elena -if you read this blog still - come' on down - bring a friend if you want, (if my mom comes - she's definately getting the bed though)!!!!

So - my birthday is Oct 13, (Saturday), and Jeff is going to try to rent out a room at the FOX Sports Grill in the Irvine Spectrum...you'll all get an Evite, soon!!! We're composing it and trying to make definate plans at the moment!

Ugh - I was going to go shoot the moon tonight with my tripod and remote control - but I'm too zonked!!! Luckily I have everynight! Michele - if you want - when the moon gets full on Tuesday the 28th, we could go down by Home Depot as the sun is setting, with all the crows and/or after hours when all the lights are off and set up our camera's on 'bulb' setting for about 10mins to get some awesome shots of the moon!

Gnite everyone, (honestly - who reads this? I zeroed my counter 2 nights ago, and so far 47 people have logged on and read it since then!! WHO ARE YOU??) ;-)
