~ So Far, Soy Good ~ (corny, I know)

So far I'm feeling pretty good on this diet...I had left-overs and fruit all day yesterday - and lots of water! UGH! Most of you know that I hate the taste of water - so I've been revamiping it up....putting lemon juice or raspberries in it...it's getting better! I made Spinach Salad with Cranberries, Pumpkin Seeds and Avocado - with Organic Raspberry Vinagrette Dressing for dinner. Topped it off with a little popcorn for dessert.

My big thing is that I am so tired!! I don't know if it's because of the heat - or the lack of caffeine. I know I'm not pregnant, (verified this morning on a stick!).

I've been drinking soy-milk - and Jeff is trying to tell me that it's just as fattening than regular milk - I bought Soy "ice cream" - and Jeff looked at the label and said that it's just as fattening as the Ice Cream that he buys...Here's something that I read to consider:
"We are the only species on the planet that drinks milk as adults. We are also the only species on the planet that drinks the milk of another species...why cows' milk?...Cows' milk, by design, grows a 90-pound calf into a 2,000-pound cow over the course of two years...Cows are milked by machine; metal clamps are attached to the cows' sensitive udders. The udders become sore and infected. Pus forms. But the machines keep on milking, sucking the dead white blood cells into the milk. To get rid of all the bacteria and other shit, milk must be pasteurized, but that destroys beneficial enzymes and makes calcium less available without even killing all the viruses or bacteria".

So - I read that on Sunday and it kinda' grossed me out! Being in the Veterinary field for so long brought realization - do you know how many creams, ointments and meds there are specifically for UDDERS? Some of them even come with little applicators that you shove up the teat to make sure you get it medicated good enought! Dairy is O-U-T for me!

I dyed my hair a darker brown lastnight. I like it, it's much healthier looking and I don't think I look so frumpy.

I'm going riding tonight, Jeff's going to make dinner for when I get home. Tomorrow night we are going to see the Hypnotist Adult Show, then it will be Friday before I know it!
