Saturday - I ended up going shopping at this really cool store called "Henry's Market" - it's a VERY LARGE health food store - a lot of organic and Vegan products/supplements. I spent about an hour there looking at everything. I bought some dairy-free cheese that I have yet to try - Michele and I are going to try it - as we have no idea what it will actually taste like!
We saw Hailey play basketball - what a game! Unfortunately they lost, but it was awesome! Afterwards, we joined them for dinner at Ruby's! That was such a hoot! We had a great time hanging out with everyone and all the kids!
Jeff's friend Jason kept calling him to get him to come over and play poker, but because I cancelled my girl's night out - he didn't think he should go. We got home late and put a movie on "Just Friends" - it was cute.
On Sunday- Jeff went to play Basketball as usual, and when he came home - he brought Starbucks. He got me some fruity drink...Pomegranate iced tea or something....for my Dairy-free, Sugar-free diet! ha ha!
We went to Mervyn's on a shopping spree. I got paid on Friday, (my first cheque after my raise), and am in DESPERATE need of some new clothes!!! I've grown out of all my clothes due to my horrible eating habits!
We went to Costco next - renewed our Membership and did a little shopping! I picked up some prints that I ordered for gifts; and bought this amazing thing for the back of my truck for Cola! It's a "hammock" that fastens to the head rests in the front and back seats...Cola would sit on it, so that she doesn't mark up the leather seats or get hair everywhere! It was only $6.97!!! After Costco, we went to the mall by our house and I went in and bought a pair of Noise-Cancelling Headphones...similar to Bose - but only $69.99!!! I almost bought 2, b/c Jeff like to donate various belongings to the airlines.
Maybe the headphones will help with drowning out the voices, music and consistant traffic that our A$$HOLE neighbours' across from our bedroom window have EVERY NIGHT! We called security on them 7x last week. We are so sick of them - Jeff is ready to raise hell - which means that we'll probably get reported, too. I was ready to blare classical music from my radio out the window on Sunday morning, but Jeff didn't want to disrupt anyone else. Security does NOTHING! Now when we call, the guy tells us that he'll "drive by when I'm back in the area sometime tonight", and that all he can do is "take a report" ...WE ARE LIVID!!!
Anyways....Jeff went and traded in a DVD for "300" - AWESOME - and we ate dinner. Veggie pattie with a Montebello Mushroom on Whole bread with Dairy-free butter and Mayonnaise, sprouts and tomatoes - and some Snow Peas on the side...with a glass of Organic White Wine! He had a big juicy steak sandwich!
Now it's Monday - Jeff has left for Anaheim until Thursday. My garage door is broken and will not open, because I had to "pull the rope" to get it to close. I had a very disorganized morning. I woke up early enough - I was just so "out of sorts". I need to organize the home front.
I am placing an AVON order tonight - someone emailed me from my website - she wants to order about $1,000 worth of product and ship it to her!!! HOLY SH*T!! I put together an estimate - she said she'll mail me a money order - then I can place the order...when I get all of it, I ship it to her with the extra money she's sending me - then I ship including her leftover change. If she agrees to the estimate, I'll get her to mail me the money order, and go from there!
I might go spend the night with Jeff tonight - but I am missing my house key set that I MUST find...I was going to go to Disneyland with him tomorrow night, but he said today that he might give his ticket away. Bummer.
