~ Hump-day ~

I miss Jeff!! He's been in Anaheim since Monday morning at the Annual Petco Tradeshow. They've been nominated for 2 awards, so hopefully they get both. Last year, Jeff won "Vendor of the Year". I was so proud of him - still am!

I was not feeling well yesterday - and not really today either! I'm just out of sorts. I am going to ride tonight, but hope I feel better!

My neighbour Michele came over on Monday night. We had a nice visit. She left this morning at 3am to get to LAX for a 6:00am flight to DC!!! I asked her to give me all the details - and I will be going there in October, (flying by myself).


My dad called me lastnight, and we had a good chat. It's been about a month since we last spoke. He's been pretty busy. I asked him to try to upload some pictures, so he can send me some of their summer, (camping, Calgary, Drumheller etc...). Kenny got all his hair cut last month - just like Jeff's, (how cute). Once he's gone back to school, my dad will have more free time and he can figure out how to do it. I suggested that he go to http://www.kodakgallery.com/ to give it a shot. It's so easy to create an account, and upload your pictures there - then share the link as needed.


This Saturday marks our 2-year engagement Anniversary - we are going to do the Barn Dance where I ride. I called the people that are putting it on, and it's going to be pretty big!

• 800-1,000 people.
• Live band called "Swing Shift".
• Food Catered by "Bad to the Bone" in San Juan Capistrano.
• Alcohol provided by Trader Joe's and San Juan Brewery.
• A dance floor is going to take over the entire covered riding ring.
• 14 vendor booths, (assorted).
• Shuttle available from parking lot a block away.

It's just going to be the two of us, but if anyone in the area is interested in joining us - the more the merrier!!! Tickets are $30.00ea! Lemme know...
