I went riding yesterday!! OMGosh - I can't wait to go back on Wednesday! I AM SO FRICKEN' SORE THOUGH!!!
When I got there, I met my lesson-horse, "Banjo" - see how handsome..
Anyway - as I was tacking up his girth - he had a little fit and decided to 'bolt' and slightly rear up. As he ran back, I grabbed his rope and the nylon cut through my hand like a hot knife through butter! OUCH!!! I started bleeding and the palm and fingers on my left hand is so burnt!!! Typing is a joy.
The ride was awesome. I was able to show the instructor how I am, and she gave me a lot of compliments & advice on my ability. I did tell her that I would like to lease someday, and she is going to give recommendations to an owner that she knows. I was, and still am, on cloud 9!!! THIS IS MY LIFE. THIS IS MY DREAM.
I paid her for 4 lessons and will be going back every Wednesday @ 5:30pm! I want to rebuild my confidence and skill as it's been 3yrs since I was last on a horse.
