We went outside to check it out and realized the Space Shuttle Atlantis had just come through the earth's atmosphere! It was due to land at 12:49pm - just northeast of Los Angeles - and it was right on time! It was amazing! I ran inside and watched it on CNN.com - it was the neatest thing!
Lastnight after work, I made my first complete sale with my AVON! I was hyped up about it! I met this lady at the grocery store parking lot and gave her the goods. When I created my AVON website; she contacted me from it and needed this stuff within 3 days! I'd only been with AVON for 3 days and had no clue how to get it to her, but I knew I wanted to work my butt off to get the sale! My leader sent a mass email out to all the reps in OC and I lucked out! Someone had it; I bought it off them and sold it to my first customer! I was stoked!!! We'll see how it goes - I am doing it to support my photography habit!
I took Gibson for a nice walk yesterday after work. Put him on the Flexi and we walked around the complex! He's so hyper to get out of his yard that I figure I'll let him run on a loose lead out there - let him get over the excitement so he doesn't bolt everytime he escapes! He was a good boy. I took him into my backyard with my own animals locked inside. He liked hanging out with me back there for a bit. All my own animals were pressed against the glass. Cola was totally fine with him being back there -but both Sandy and Simon were protecting the house! It was funny - Cola actually backed down from them!!! I then went for a long walk with my other neighbour Dawna and her 5yr old daughter Kianna, their dog Boomer and Cola! It was so nice!
I have a huge ugly Black Widow Spider outside my door in the 'drain'....Here's the picture finally downloaded from the camera!!
Jeff's out all night in SD - he had a company function at the Padres Game! He's then staying at Steve's loft in the Gaslamp Quarter and they're probably going to go big. I'm going small at home on my couch with some SKYY, blogging and chatting on Messenger!! :-) Perfect!!!
I have Gibson and Cola both sleeping together on the couch!!! They are getting along great!!! I've been taking lots of photos, so I can post them! Gibsons' family is on at roadtrip to Idaho/Utah for the week, and miss him terribly! He misses them too, but now that the dogs are getting along so well I think he'll be pre-occupied and won't miss them so much!!!
