This morning; Jeff got home from SD and we got the dogs ready; loaded them in the truck and took off for the Oso Creek Trail! It was very hot, so we just went for a short jaunt!
On the way back to the car, the dogs veerd off to the left and pulled me towards the bushes - there was a HUGE 4' long California Kingsnake!!!! I let out a BLOODCURLING SCREAM and pulled the dogs away!! I think it was just as scared! I have never been so close to such a large wild-snake before! A man came along and Jeff and him were trying to find it to have a better look. I found this picture off the internet:
Well - we're getting ready to go out to Coto de Caza for a BBQ at Sharon's house. She works with Jeff and is inviting a few people from the office over.
