Cinqo de Mayo weekend

What a week!! I have limited times to get on the internet now that I've been working.

On Friday we had "Margarita/Beer Day" at work. It was a lot of fun - we started at 3pm and a lot of the employees from the other location came over and we kicked back and started our weekend with early Cinqo de Mayo celebrations!

There was a very bad car accident on I-5 and it took me almost an hour to get home on the side streets. We found out on Saturday afternoon; that the family involved were next-door neighbours with our friends in Ladera Ranch. We went Christmas Caroling with them in December. A semi rear-ended the family minivan and the three kids that were all strapped into their carseats were all killed. The Mom and Grandma were hurt bad, but they will be ok. This really hit Jeff and I hard, and the family has been on our mind all weekend - it's so sad.

Saturday afternoon - we went to Jeffs' sisters' house to watch the Boxing match between Oscar del la Hoya and Floyd Mayweather. It was fun to see but when it ended we went right home.

Yesterday, Jeff and I met up with his friend Ken and we went hiking!! It was a lot of fun - even though my body is starting to turn against me right now by seizing up! The weather was beautiful, (also very hot), and I took about 60 pictures.

After the hike; we went down to the Beachcomber restaurant and had some well deserved beers/mojito's/martinis!!!

Today when I got up to get ready for work, there was a dead mockingbird on the patio. Poor thing hit the window too hard.
