I started my new job on Wednesday. They're all very nice and I really enjoy it a lot so far! I have my own cubicle, and they gave me a staples catalogue on my first day and told me to order anything that I needed!! I also had a binder kit that I had to duplicate, so I also had to order supplies for that.
For most of the week, I was making binders - designing labels - going to Kinko's for a print job and learning a little bit about the company! They're so busy right now!
Thursday was Jeff's 37th Birthday - so of course we had to celebrate for the entire week! We went to his sister Brianna and her husband Jasons' house on Wednesday to meet up for dinner at a restaurant. That was a great night! They have a new sound system and new LCD tv that they put on a demo for us - WOW!!! We've added something like that on our "want" list. Dinner was awesome - we went to an Italian restaurant. It was so nice to just hang out with them!
I took Jeff to Riptide - our favourite Sushi place on Thursday night. Our Friends/Neighbours came over to say Happy Birthday to him, and slipped him a gift cert for there!! It worked out really well!!!! Jeff had a couple of Birthday shooters - we had AWESOME sushi, then we went home!! THANK YOU, MERK FAMILY!!
Friday night we stayed in and watched the Canucks VIOLATE the Ducks! The series is now 1-1. I rec'd my vehicle flags from Elena!! I have two of them - one red and one blue! THANK YOU ELENA!!
Saturday, (yesterday), we had a big party for Jeff at Lake Mission Viejo! We got there at 8am to set up and reserve tables. Then we went home, and I went to go pick up balloons that his mom ordered - and it was back to the lake! It was so much fun!!! I called my friends and family to let them know that if they log onto the lake website, they can see us on the livecam! My mom saw Hailey and I! We had a good turn out! Jeff, me, Ken, Monica, Maya, Steve our Neighbour with the two kids, Hailey and Jake, Judi, Sue, Jim, Carol, and Steve from SD! It was great! So hot, too!!! I got a sunburn/farmers' tan with my tank top and bathing suite straps!!
Today, Jeff and I are sitting on the couch being so lazy!!! We need to go look into getting a new BBQ today!! Jeff's Birthday present from everyone yesterday!! We all contributed to getting a new bbq for him - as the one we have is old, stinky and has critter-evidence!!!

My wife is so amazing for all she does...I am so proud of her! What an awesome Birthday she planned for me...dinner with my sister was a great surprise and SO MUCH FUN!! My Birthday was great and the Lake was a blast!! My family and freinds were so good to me (THANK YOU) and I now have a new BBQ. I LOVE YOU CHRISTY!!
We're pretty sneaky....loved the look on your face though, BUT it was the perfect gift to get him since you were headed there anyway! Next time I wanna go to the lake with the rest of my family and yours too.....I'm so bummed I missed Jeff's celebration!!!
