I got home tonight at about 8:30pm. Work was ok! We had introduced about 6 new "temps" to take phonecalls pertaining to faxing reports and doing add ons. That took so many calls off of our queue. We actually had time to get some follow up done, and...even socialize with eachother for a few minutes here and there!
Jeff took Cola to work today, so I'm glad that she got to get out of the house! She's been such an annoying puppy lately! I know that I need to take her for more regular walks. It's so hard, b/c I have been working 12hr days, and that's the last thing that I want to do. Tomorrow, I'm going to have to spoil her.
~ Words of advice ~
Do not try to introduce two large dogs to eachother for the FIRST time without another person to help!!! DUMB!!! That was me - tonight! I took Cola to a friends' house in Ladera Ranch, so that I could feed their dog, and decided to introduce them and take them for a walk together! HAHA!! Kobe was so protective that he tore into Cola as soon as he saw her - fangs and wild eyes! I had him and her both freaking out on eachother very LOUDLY in the front steps of the house!! Nobody got hurt, but THAT SURE GOT MY ADRENALINE GOING!!! Tomorrow, Jeff is going to come with me, and we're going to walk both dogs together, but at least having him there will be much more helpful!! I think Cola misses Bronson, Shadow and Cassidy so much! She hasn't seen them since we left for the USA, and now they've all passed away in that year and a half! She has 1 dog boy-friend down here, but she's kinda' snotty to him sometimes - Gibson. I've taken them out together before, but it's hard to walk them both at the same time - they just mainly go in different directions - and they're both 60+ lbs each of dog!
Not much else is new! We're going to try to meet up with Jeff's Aunt that moved to Oregon in October over the weekend! She's coming down and we would like to see her on Saturday; but I'm trying to find someone to cover my shift for me. Who wants to work on a Saturday though!?!?
Countdown to Jeff's Bday party has begun. He's starting to get mixed feelings about going to the lake. We might have to have it elsewhere - or on another weekend. Regardless - that weekend is going to be fun. Rich and Lucie are coming to stay with us. We can take them Whale Watching if they're up to it...I went with Lucie when I was about 10yrs old, off Vancouver Island and I got sick. We had fun though!
