Today is a great day

Oh my gosh - I've just completed my first ever photo order!!! I'm still on a high from it; so I just had to write a progress report.

I think that I mentioned before that I met Andrea, (she works at Precision Pet with Jeff), at Huntington Dog Beach at the end of August with her two dogs; and took about 200 pictures. Well; out of those 200 - after editing, about 86 turned out to be ok! Thank God for Digital, huh? I made her 5 proof sheets; and surprisingly enough she liked 5 individuals!!!

Initially; she wanted a Christmas card that was a collage of 4 pictures, but I spent the whole week and a half looking for programs so that I could make a decent collage that wouldn't wreck the resolution. I could not do it. It was very frustrating; and I got very ticked off at the computer and life many days.

Today - she decided that we would make folding cards. Last week I ordered some "samples" to see what different decor was like; and they turned out pretty good! I gave two to Jeff to take to work - one was his dad's cat on a card that had Christmas lights strung around; and the other was Andrea's 2 dogs in a Snowflake design.
Turns out she liked the lights; and I emailed her a picture of a different design, (Holly); so she decided to do 15 and 15 with two different photos! Along with her reprints for 7 others in 5x7!!!

I placed her order and will be able to have it hopefully by Friday. This has been very difficult, but it's so much fun!!!

Lastnight; I went to a sportsbar with Jeff and I put one of my business cards in the bathroom. I noticed one girl had taken it for herself and put it in her wallet. After I saw that; I got very nervous and excited! Jeff didn't believ me; but I pointed out the girl to him and he saw her with the card! I know I can do this if it comes knocking! I've made more price sheets today for seasonal greeting cards. ...t'is the season, right?? I am ready for Hallowe'en, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's, St Patrick's and then I also have basic studio frames!

Oh yah - I was online with my friend Marissa all day; and she helped me out a lot with proofing some things and she converted them all into PDF's and now I am able to email my work to people that may want a pamphlet. (They're a little expensive for me to print off 100 or so; and mail - so I'l just print them off as I need them!).

Marissa also helped me find a website domain company. I found one and bought a domain! It's going to be www.howellpawtography.com and when it's up and running; it will be on for 1yr for $7.99 ONLY!!!! The tricky part is designing it! She said she'd be there to answer any questions that I might have etc....

Yay - I found something that might help pay the bills
- and I love doing it!!!

On another note, my little kitten is not feeling too hot. I'm hoping that he's fine; and he's just eaten something that doesn't agree with him. I gave him a feline greenies yesterday and he had a tough time chewing it. He's also starting to lose some teeth; AND his testicles are starting to come down some more. POOR LITTLE MAN!!!! He's been vomiting a few times, and peeing a lot. He's spent most of the day curled up with cola in her bed. They're so cute! You can tell that Cola is his little mom, b/c she licks his face and makes sure that he's ok! It's very cute! Warms my heart!

I must go now - Jeff is on his way home, and I want to make sure the house is clean for him! Our house is in cahoots with the mould situation. We now have a containment system in the downstairs hallway - reminds me of the scene in the movie E.T. when he died and was hooked up to Elliott!
